A Six-Week Course for Intuitive Tarot Reading
Online ~ May 20 - June 24
7pm Eastern via Zoom. All sessions are recorded.
Or do you often find yourself reading one card at a time in your tarot spreads, unable to zoom out and see the bigger picture?
Or do you ever pull cards you’re not expecting, and then you feel thrown off when you’re not sure how to relate them back to their spread position?
If any of these sound familiar, you’ve probably wondered…
It sounds like you’re ready to develop...
A lot of us start off with learning card meanings. But at some point, we start to realize that the card meanings can only take you so far in a reading.
You start to wonder: Is there more than this?
Maybe you start to see how other readers work, and you see them picking up the smallest details in their readings, and you think to yourself, I’d love to get to that level.
In Tarot Fluency, that’s what we focus on. You will learn:
This six-week course takes you through weekly lessons that will give you practical methods to help you build your tarot skills.
This course is suited for anyone who has some grasp of the standard card meanings, and is ready to learn beyond that.
Here's what each lesson covers:
Lesson One: Cards in combination. This foundational lesson will teach you how to reach cards in combination through the three-card method. Break away from card positions and learn to see how just a few cards can come to life when you learn to look at them together.
Lesson Two: Case studies in the unexpected. This lesson dovetails with what you learn in Lesson One, where we will look at how to make sense of your cards when unexpected questions arise. Learn new ways to see the tarot and gain confidence taking on questions you might be afraid to try.
Lesson Three: Taking tarot literally. Do you ever find yourself saying the same things about certain cards? Are you stuck on repeat with your ideas about tarot? Or maybe you sometimes miss the obvious in your readings, and you don’t realize it until later. This lesson will show you how literal tarot can be. We’ll go through a number of examples of the Major and Minor Arcana to learn how literal tarot can be.
Lesson Four: When good cards go bad, and bad cards go good. Tarot isn’t a binary system: The cards are nuanced, but it’s not always easy to figure out what they’re saying. Especially when you end up pulling cards you’re not expecting to see. Learn how to make sense of your cards when they feel confusing, and learn how to see the challenges in typically positive cards, and the benefits in traditionally negative cards.
Lesson Five: Yes, no, and timing questions. Stop being afraid to get specific in your readings. Learn methods and strategies to understand timing in tarot, as well as how to navigate yes or no questions by relying on tarot’s visual cues.
Lesson Six: Synthesizing bigger spreads. We’ll look at three classic spreads – the Celtic Cross, the Zodiac Tarot, and the 7-Card Horseshoe – to learn how to synthesize bigger tarot readings. Learn how to apply the skills and techniques you’ve learned throughout each class and see how they can work in larger, positional tarot spreads.
When and where does this class take place?
We’ll meet online, via Zoom, on Tuesdays at 7pm Eastern Time, starting Tuesday, May 20 until Tuesday, June 24.

I have been a full-time tarot reader since 2015, and have over 400 students pass through my tarot school every year.
I understand what people expect out of a tarot reading and how to deal with the most common, and the most difficult, questions that tarot readers face.Â
One of the reasons I teach tarot the way I do - with an emphasis on interpretation, craft, and client-centric contexts - is because I consistently hear from tarot readers who feel that their intuition is blocked when they try to read their cards. It's hard to know when to go by the guidebook meaning and when to follow your heart in a reading.
If you want to do more than repeat memorized keywords and start giving tarot readings that feel useful, practical, and insightful to your querents, you're in the right place.
You don't have to stay stuck in the beginner stages with your tarot practice.Â
In Taking Fluency, you’ll get a suite of techniques and methodologies that will help you layer in new insights to your readings. You can integrate these practices with techniques you are already working with, or come into this fresh and ready to learn.
Every layer in the program gives you step-by-step instructions, tarot spreads, and techniques that you can apply to your tarot readings right now.
Learn how to give clear, confident readings that are so relevant and specific that people will actually want to pay you for.
